WE HERD YOUR VOICE ...... and TOOK ACTION

I~ams Whimsical......a 4 1/2 week old filly, came from a nurse mare farm in Ohio,arriving in Delaware on March 30,2005. Whimsical Equine Rescue picked her up April 1,2005 and brought her to her safe home.  I~ams was one of the fortunate ones that didn't have to take the fatal trip ending at a slaughter house.  She took a tremendous amount of time and funds to care for her.  hen she had her feet trimmed for the first time and stood like a princess, her farrier was impressed with how well she behaved.

Unfortunately after a sad adoption, Baby Iams was confiscated and is back at Whimsical.  This is how she looked when we took her back.

 

It takes only 2 months to put a horse in this condition

and another 2 months plus much expenses to do this
