As an item at a livestock auction, this diamond in the rough was the last one thru - to skinny to be ridden. He was won against a Kill Buyer.
How could we pass on this face (and highlights)? We named him Marley (as in Bob Marley) for all the dreadlocks in his mane.
It took over 90 minutes to tame this mane. This shy fellow was scared of a brush (may have been used as a discipline tool).
Look at those ribs and hip bones (250 pounds underweight)! Please help Marley regain the weight. He is on a high fat (and high dollar) grain to cover his bones before winter.
